We do not talk about the wealth gap.
We close it.

R.E.D. Inc. — Redemption Endeavor For Dominion — is a Chicago-based nonprofit returning equity through real estate education, financial literacy, and the Light Fund, our pooled-capital community investment vehicle. One block at a time. One household at a time. One closing at a time.

Our Mission

Redemption is a financial doctrine, not just a spiritual one.

R.E.D. Inc. exists to demolish inequity and return the equity and property stolen from U.S. citizens through redlining and other federal and local discriminatory policies.

We educate through real estate and financial literacy. We return equity through pooled-capital community investment. We do both inside a Kingdom-aligned governance framework rooted in Scripture and operator-grade execution.

We do not raise money to distribute it. We build the vehicle that moves capital through communities for generations.

The Covenant Frame

“I am the lender, and not the borrower.”

Deuteronomy 15:6

That is not devotional language. That is an operating principle. R.E.D. Inc. is structured around lending, ownership, and inheritance — not debt dependence.

Our Foundation

Isaiah 61 — The Operating Mandate

R.E.D. Inc. is not a theory. It is an assignment. Isaiah 61 is the passage Jesus stood up and read to announce His ministry (Luke 4:18–19). It names the people we are sent to, the work we are sent to do, and the outcome we are told to expect.

Movement I · The Anointing

1The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

2to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;

3to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.

Movement II · The Restoration

4They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.

5Strangers shall stand and tend your flocks; foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers;

6but you shall be called the priests of the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory you shall boast.

7Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.

Movement III · The Covenant

8For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

9Their offspring shall be known among the nations, and their descendants in the midst of the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are an offspring the Lord has blessed.

10I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.

— Isaiah 61:1–11, English Standard Version

Why this is our foundation

v. 1–3
The Anointing → Financial Literacy

“Good news to the poor” is not charity. It is information. We replace shame with literacy, silence with strategy, and generational wound with operator knowledge. That is Pillar I.

v. 4–7
The Restoration → Real Estate & The Light Fund

“Build up the ancient ruins” is the blueprint for every boarded-up block on the South and West sides. The “double portion” is the economic reparation the Light Fund exists to deliver through pooled capital and returned equity.

v. 8–11
The Covenant → Governance & Generations

“I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery.” That is our governance charter. Every dollar is handled as covenant, not transaction, so that what we build outlives us — an inheritance, not a program.

This is the mandate. The rest of this site is the execution plan.

About the Founder

Mensah McCadd — Builder. Operator. Believer.

Mensah McCadd, Founder and CEO of R.E.D. Inc.
Founder & CEO

Mensah McCadd is a Chicago-based deal architect, capital strategist, and faith-driven systems builder. He founded R.E.D. Inc. after two decades of closing real estate deals, structuring financing, and watching the same wealth gap widen in the same neighborhoods he grew up in.

He did not start R.E.D. Inc. to write a better op-ed about the problem. He started it to build a different system — one where education, pooled capital, and Kingdom alignment compound into generational inheritance instead of another program cycle.

Mensah also leads Titanium Holdings, Inc., the for-profit real estate and AI systems arm that underwrites R.E.D. Inc.’s operating engine: Lead → Fund → Close → Monetize → Scale.

Launch Sequence

Chicago first. Then the nation. Then the world.

Scale is not a prediction. It is a sequence. We prove the model on the south and west sides of Chicago, then we replicate it.

2026

Chicago Pilot

Foundation, board, flagship curriculum, and the first enrolled cohort. Proof of model in the city where the pattern is most visible.

2027

Nationwide Launch

Chapter model across the United States. National press. Replicated programs in ten priority cities.

2028

Worldwide Launch

International partnerships and diaspora reach. The Light Fund launches in its six official languages.

The Light Fund

A community-owned capital vehicle — not a donation fund.

Built on a proven playbook.

The Light Fund is R.E.D. Inc.’s pooled-capital trust, modeled on the community-wealth playbook Booker T. Washington used to create dozens of millionaires in 1907.

Members contribute, the fund acquires assets, returns are paid back as dividends, and a fixed asset-to-obligation ratio prevents a run on funds. Equity is returned through structured instruments including CRUTs and IULs — tax-advantaged, multi-generational, and designed to pass inheritance forward.

The Light Fund is not a grant program. It is an ownership vehicle.

Light Fund

A pooled-capital community trust. Acquires assets. Generates returns. Returns equity through CRUTs, IULs, and ownership pathways.

Results & Advantages

Why the model works.

One donated property becomes five outcomes. One qualified participant becomes a generational operator. That is how the math compounds.

1

Self-sustaining funding

Pooled-capital structures and asset-backed returns mean the fund does not depend on the next donation cycle to operate.

2

Tax-efficient giving

Donors receive tax write-offs, and beneficiaries receive tax-advantaged distributions through IUL and CRUT structures.

3

Local jobs, local capital

Apprenticeships pay Chicago youth and returning citizens. Capital recycles inside the neighborhoods we serve.

4

Generational, not transactional

IUL-backed equity transfer means a first closing today becomes a tax-free inheritance for the next generation.

5

Accredited curriculum track

Real Estate 101–400 and financial literacy on track for accreditation, expanding eligibility for tuition funding partners.

6

One scalable blueprint

The Chicago pilot replicates into every market where redlining still predicts outcomes — which is every market.
